Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism
- Dispatch police units using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident reports
- Provide clear instructions to callers during crises
- Coordinate with multiple agencies (EMS, Fire, etc.)
- Remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Update and maintain confidential databases
Qualifications
- No experience required – training provided!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to type 30+ WPM (typing test required)
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights, and weekends
