We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Police Dispatcher Trainee to join the Orlando Police Department team. In this critical role, you will serve as the vital link between the public and law enforcement, managing emergency calls and dispatching resources to ensure community safety.

Responsibilities
- Receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls for service accurately and efficiently.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and medical units to locations based on geographic information and real-time data.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications and incidents.
- Monitor and operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and radio channels.
- Provide critical information to officers in the field to ensure officer safety and public welfare.
- Perform life-saving instructions to callers until help arrives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- U.S. Citizenship and valid Florida driver's license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in computer systems and ability to multitask.
- No felony convictions; background check required.
