Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls for service
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units efficiently
- Enter and maintain detailed call records in CAD systems
- Provide critical information to first responders
- Maintain radio communication protocols
- Perform multitasking during high-pressure situations
- Work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (will be tested)
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Clear speaking voice and strong communication skills
- No felony convictions
- Nevada driver's license required
