Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls and dispatch appropriate emergency services
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications
- Operate radio systems, CAD software, and emergency equipment
- Coordinate with multiple agencies during critical incidents
- Provide critical information to field units and public safety partners
- Remain calm under pressure during high-stress situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- U.S. citizenship and Nevada residency required
- Pass extensive background check and polygraph examination
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Clear articulation and exceptional listening skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- No felony convictions
