Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses
- Operate radio systems for police, fire, and EMS units
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and records
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time tracking and resource allocation
- Provide clear communication to first responders and the public
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Strong multitasking and decision-making abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (typing test required)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Valid NC driver's license with good driving record
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
