Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls using CAD/RMS systems with 100% accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units via radio and digital channels
- Maintain detailed logs and incident documentation per state protocols
- Operate multiple communication systems during high-pressure scenarios
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers during critical incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major emergencies
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Strong multi-tasking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS, databases)
- Valid California driver’s license
- U.S. citizenship or legal residency status
