Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and compassion
- Dispatch police units and emergency services using CAD/RADAR systems
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports in compliance with protocols
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone during emergencies
- Operate radio equipment and communication technologies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- U.S. citizenship and valid New Mexico driver's license
- Pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
