Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed incident logs and communicate with responding personnel
- Utilize de-escalation techniques during crisis calls
- Operate radio equipment and emergency notification systems
- Provide critical information to officers in the field
- Coordinate with other public safety agencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Strong computer literacy and multitasking abilities
- Calm demeanor under high-pressure situations
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
