Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls from public and law enforcement personnel
- Dispatch appropriate emergency services using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all communications
- Provide clear, concise instructions during critical incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major emergencies
- Utilize radio systems to communicate with field units
- Adhere to all federal, state, and departmental protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
- No felony convictions and clean driving record
