Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Coordinate police, fire, and EMS resources during critical incidents
- Operate CAD/RMS systems for real-time incident tracking
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and dispatch actions
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Collaborate with multi-agency responders during emergencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and NIMS standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 40 WPM typing certification
- Clear background check and polygraph examination
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Ability to pass psychological evaluation and drug screening
- Experience in high-stress customer service environments
- Basic knowledge of Albuquerque geography
- Fluency in Spanish (bilingual candidates strongly encouraged)
