Responsibilities
- Answer emergency/non-emergency calls and dispatch appropriate resources
- Operate radio equipment, CAD systems, and 911 infrastructure
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies
- Provide crisis intervention and pre-arrival instructions to callers
- Adhere to NENA and NCAP standards for emergency communications
- Participate in continuous training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 40 WPM typing proficiency
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Nevada driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and NV residency required
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
