Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and deliver mail/packages along designated routes within Washington DC
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Process customer transactions at retail counters and assist with inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues
- Safely handle hazardous materials and secure confidential items
- Operate scanning technology for package tracking and proof of delivery
- Participate in continuous route optimization and efficiency improvements
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible availability for weekend/holiday shifts
- Knowledge of Washington DC geography preferred
