Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages according to established routes and procedures
- Efficiently deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses on assigned routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from designated mailboxes and collection points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Provide excellent customer service during public interactions
- Perform route adjustments during peak seasons or absences
- Operate scanning devices for delivery confirmation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning operations
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
- Pass background check and drug screening
