Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Operate mail processing machinery including scanners and sorting equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service disruptions
- Provide customer service for mail inquiries and package tracking
- Safely operate USPS vehicles in various weather conditions
- Follow all USPS safety protocols and security procedures
- Assist with mail processing duties during peak seasons
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in varying weather
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong customer service orientation
