Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages efficiently to residential and commercial addresses across designated routes
- Sort and organize incoming mail according to postal regulations and delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide courteous customer service during interactions at mailboxes and post offices
- Collect postage and fees when required for certified or special delivery services
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities or safety concerns
- Adhere to all USPS policies, safety protocols, and delivery time standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and reporting systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
