Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and deliver mail/packages accurately and efficiently along assigned routes
- Operate postal vehicles safely while adhering to traffic regulations and delivery schedules
- Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, returns, and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service at collection points and during route interactions
- Operate and maintain postal equipment including scanners, scales, and sorting machinery
- Report mail irregularities, damaged items, or suspicious activities promptly
- Ensure all deliveries comply with USPS security and privacy protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and walk 5-8 hours daily
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- US citizenship or permanent residency status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work in all weather conditions
