Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Deliver residential and commercial mail along assigned routes daily
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain proper documentation
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions at retail counters
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and security procedures
- Assist with mail processing operations during peak periods
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer service logs
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- US citizenship or permanent resident status required
