Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages along assigned city routes efficiently and accurately
- Operate and maintain postal vehicles while adhering to all safety regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection boxes and customer locations
- Provide exceptional customer service while resolving delivery inquiries professionally
- Manage route documentation and maintain delivery logs for accountability
- Operate automated scanning systems to track delivery confirmations
- Collaborate with sorting center staff to ensure timely mail processing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
- Ability to work in various weather conditions year-round
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and reporting systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
