Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and packages according to established routes and schedules
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions at postal facilities
- Identify and resolve delivery issues while maintaining customer service excellence
- Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all USPS regulations, security protocols, and safety standards
- Assist with mail processing during peak seasons and special events
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and walk extended distances
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and variable schedules
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and customer service skills
