Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages along assigned routes using USPS vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Operate postal machinery (scanners, sorting equipment) efficiently
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and service standards
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and safety protocols
- Collaborate with sorting center staff for seamless mail flow
- Report mail irregularities or suspicious packages immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
