Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages efficiently using automated sorting equipment
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records using handheld scanning devices
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Prepare for daily deliveries by organizing mail and optimizing delivery sequence
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
- Ability to work outdoors in Houston's climate conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning operations
- Pass background check and drug screening
