Responsibilities
- Safely sort and distribute mail/packages according to USPS procedures
- Provide courteous customer service at delivery points and post offices
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle special services (certified mail, etc.)
- Operate delivery vehicles safely in various weather conditions
- Perform parcel scanning and route optimization duties
- Adhere to strict security protocols for mail handling
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Residency in Long Beach area preferred
