Responsibilities
- Delail mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize incoming/outgoing mail according to postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect postage and handle customer inquiries at mailboxes
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Adhere to strict delivery time standards and safety protocols
- Assist with special mail processing during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and carry mail sacks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
