Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update address databases
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Process customer transactions at the Post Office counter when assigned
- Report delivery issues and maintenance needs for postal equipment
- Adhere to strict security protocols for handling sensitive materials
- Participate in continuous training on postal regulations and technology
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
