Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail/packages according to delivery routes and postal regulations
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Delail mail and parcels to residential and business addresses within assigned territory
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and customer locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Adhere to all USPS policies and procedures for secure handling of mail
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
