Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities or mail discrepancies
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail interactions and resolve delivery issues
- Safely operate postal equipment including scanners and sorting machinery
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer proficiency for scanning and tracking systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
