Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect postage and maintain proper handling of funds
- Provide courteous customer service at mailboxes and retail counters
- Operate scanning technology to track delivery status
- Maintain security protocols for sensitive materials
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
