Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for daily delivery according to USPS standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with the public during delivery
- Report and document mail irregularities, damaged property, or safety hazards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer information
- Adhere to all USPS regulations, safety protocols, and delivery time standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 70 lbs) repeatedly
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for tracking deliveries and reporting issues
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
