Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and process incoming/outgoing mail and parcels according to USPS protocols
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses
- Operate postal vehicles responsibly while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards
- Collect and process postage payments, maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail interactions and at customer service counters
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report operational issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate mail distribution
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems and tracking software
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and varying schedules
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
