Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail/packages efficiently
- Deliver mail/residential/commercial addresses on assigned routes
- Operate mail processing equipment (scanners, sorters) accurately
- Maintain delivery records and submit required documentation
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and vehicle operation standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions
- Support postal retail operations when required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds regularly and walk extended distances
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
