Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail according to established routes and delivery schedules
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic regulations
- Load/unload mail and parcels from vehicles and processing equipment
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle special mail requests
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
