Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to USPS safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer interaction logs
- Process customer transactions at post office windows and retail counters
- Operate mail processing equipment (scanners, sorters) with precision
- Perform parcel handling and oversized mail delivery duties
- Assist in mailroom operations during peak seasons
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and walk 5-8 hours daily
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service orientation and reliability
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
