Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate mail processing equipment and maintain accurate sorting records
- Provide exceptional customer service at postal counters and via phone inquiries
- Load/unload mail trucks safely and efficiently using proper lifting techniques
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and maintain secure mail handling procedures
- Complete daily delivery routes within designated timeframes
- Report and resolve delivery issues or customer concerns promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for mail tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
