Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages efficiently in delivery sequence
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate urban routes
- Deliver mail to residential/business addresses per USPS standards
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Operate scanning devices for package tracking and proof of delivery
- Adhere to safety protocols and postal regulations
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent residency status
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and carry mail sacks
- Ability to walk extended distances on varied terrain
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and record-keeping
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and reliability
