Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming/outgoing mail according to USPS regulations
- Deliver residential and commercial mail/packages on assigned routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer interaction logs
- Operate mail processing machinery safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating vehicles and handling mail
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and during deliveries
- Assist with mail forwarding and special handling requests
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
