Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to USPS driving protocols
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions at post offices
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report mail irregularities
- Operate automated mail processing equipment efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and security procedures
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy containers (up to 70 lbs)
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for mail processing systems
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6+ hours)
