Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming/outgoing mail according to USPS procedures
- Load/unload mail trucks with proper handling techniques
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Operate mail processing machinery and sorting equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
