Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently.
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial customers along established routes.
- Operate postal vehicles safely and adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.
- Use handheld scanners and automated equipment to track and manage mail.
- Interact with the public professionally to resolve service inquiries and complaints.
- Adhere to strict security and privacy standards regarding customer information.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status and be able to pass a background check.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently under time constraints.
