Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and deliver mail/packages along designated routes using USPS vehicles
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from residential and business locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and safety inspections
- Adhere to all USPS policies and security protocols
- Assist with mail processing at distribution facilities as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
