Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and deliver mail/packages along assigned routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries
- Operate postal equipment including scanners and sorting machines
- Perform weather-independent deliveries in all conditions
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery schedules
- Assist with mail processing at local distribution centers
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility for early morning shifts (5:00 AM start)
