Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail to residential and business addresses across designated routes
- Operate mail vehicles safely and adhere to strict delivery schedules
- Process customer transactions at post offices including sales, money orders, and passport services
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report delivery issues promptly
- Operate mail processing equipment with precision and care
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing USPS standards
- Adhere to all postal regulations and security protocols
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean record (for carrier positions)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
