Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail according to established postal regulations and safety protocols.
- Load and unload parcels and letters from delivery trucks and sorting machinery efficiently.
- Operate package handling equipment, such as conveyor belts and sorters, to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
- Adhere to strict schedules and time management standards to meet daily delivery quotas.
- Interact professionally with supervisors and coworkers to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (if applicable to local delivery roles).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
