Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages efficiently according to postal standards.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve service issues professionally and courteously.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the local facility and on the route.
- Operate postal vehicles and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Collect and process outgoing mail, including certified and registered mail.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages and walking long distances daily.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent physical stamina to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Basic computer literacy for tracking and reporting.
