Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Efficiently sort incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and periodicals to ensure accurate delivery.
- Vehicle Operations: Load and unload mail from delivery vehicles, ensuring all items are secure and accounted for.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to resolve delivery issues and answer inquiries.
- Route Delivery: Deliver mail to residential and business addresses along assigned routes, maintaining strict adherence to schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all postal safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical tasks including lifting packages (up to 70 lbs) and walking long distances throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- License: Valid driver's license (Class C or higher preferred).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly; good physical stamina for walking and standing.
