Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and distribute mail efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport mail along designated routes
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve delivery inquiries and issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for accountability
- Adhere to all USPS regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Perform regular equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Assist in special mail processing during peak seasons or events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for mail tracking systems
- US citizenship or permanent residency status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Prior mail handling or logistics experience preferred
