Responsibilities

- Write compelling press releases, speeches, and public reports
- Analyze public sentiment and adjust messaging strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on public awareness campaigns
- Monitor media coverage and compile performance analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or public sector communications
- Expertise in crisis communication protocols and public engagement strategies
- Proficiency with CMS platforms, social media analytics tools, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong writing skills with samples of published work required
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for events
- Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred
