Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans for city initiatives and policy changes
- Manage official social media channels and digital content creation
- Coordinate press conferences and media relations with local/national outlets

- Produce official communications including press releases, newsletters, and reports
- Analyze public sentiment and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in government/public sector communications
- Expertise in crisis communication and media relations
- Proficiency with CMS platforms and analytics tools
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for events
