Responsibilities
- Oversee development and execution of county-wide public health initiatives
- Manage $2M+ health program budgets and ensure fiscal compliance
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for disease outbreaks
- Analyze community health data to identify intervention priorities
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Supervise 15+ public health professionals and interns
- Prepare reports for county commissioners and state health departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health administration
- Valid Florida Public Health Administrator certification
- Expertise in grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, Tableau)
- Strong budget management and grant administration skills
- Experience managing diverse teams in government/nonprofit settings
- Knowledge of Florida public health statutes and regulations
