Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats in Colorado Springs region
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with local government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for state leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects supporting maternal health, chronic disease prevention, and emergency preparedness
- Lead community outreach initiatives to improve health literacy and access to services
- Monitor compliance with state and federal public health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of public health analysis or program coordination experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder audiences
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance requirements
- Valid Colorado driver's license and ability to travel within region
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CO Public Health Act, and CDC guidelines
- Spanish bilingual preferred for community engagement
