Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and execute preparedness plans for pandemics and natural disasters
- Collaborate with FEMA, CDC, and state health departments
- Train community partners on emergency protocols
- Manage resource allocation during crisis events
- Conduct post-incident evaluations and improvement planning
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of crisis response coordination experience
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) preferred
- Experience with government grant reporting requirements
- Strong knowledge of incident command systems (ICS)
- Ability to work extended hours during emergencies
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Pass federal background check
